The Discovery of Art collection comprises seven works inspired by Rokua Geopark's three main themes: geological heritage, tar, and legends.

Pitkänkari paths, Takaranta and Hakotauri
The Pitkänkari area does not have a single circular nature trail, but rather a network of several routes. Along the walking paths, you’ll find the Ilolinna birdwatching tower and the Takaranta campfire site, as well as several log benches for resting. The views from Takaranta open out to the open sea, while the scenery from Ilolinna looks out over the archipelago.
Syvyydenkierros, Rokua National Park
The Syvyydenkierros route goes through the rolling and varied ridge terrain of Rokuanvaara, among silvery lichens. Along the route, you can see landscapes shaped by the Ice Age and Finland's deepest natural kettle hole, Syvyydenkaivo.

Iso-Kraaseli nature trail
On the Natura 2000 site of Iso-Kraaseli island off Raahe, there is a nature trail about 2 km long, along which there are 15 information boards telling about the island's birds, plants, and the phenomenon of land uplift in nature.
The island has a campfire site and a shelter. In the summer, sheep graze on the island.
You can reach Iso-Kraaseli in the summer by archipelago cruises or by your own boat.
Hampusvaara hiking trail 1 km, Pudasjärvi
Hampusvaara rewards the climber with views over Lake Iinattijärvi, which can be admired throughout the night in summer. In addition to the summit, the hiker will also encounter the mysterious "devil's hole".

Path of Parr, Mikonkari

The Fantin route is an excellent nearby route if you are staying in the center of Raahe and in Old Raahe.
Fantti used to be an island, which has almost connected to the mainland due to land uplift.

In 2019, the municipality of Kempele initiated an art project with the theme "Art Linnakallio goes Baana," inviting artists to design and create site-specific artworks for eight underpass bridges. These underpass bridges are located along Baana, Kempele's busiest cycling and walking route.

Flatland Route is a 320 km long, 5-6 day gravel road ring route along the Baltic Sea coast in North Ostrobothnia.It connects the villages, towns, nature and history sites and services of the south-eastern coast of the Bothnian Sea along low-traffic side roads, offering an interesting and varied introduction to the area's nature and history. The route is easily accessible by public transport and the flatness of Ostrobothnia makes it suitable for first-timers.

The Musu route starts from the end of Ylipääntie in Piehinki at Härkölanssintie. The total length of the route is 16.6 km. Along the route are the remnants of the Russian prison camp, the Headquarters. It is located along Laivalantie, and the site is about 200 m from Laivalantie. The loop length is 8.2 km.

On the trail route of the Ahmatuva ski café, you will experience the wilderness beauty and silence of Syöte National Park. Skiing conditions on the trail often vary because Ahmatuva is located over one hundred meters higher than the lowest point of the trail at Annintupa in Ahmavaara. The outward journey is a gentle uphill climb. On the way back, you can enjoy long downhill sections.
