Varjakan Helmi, Kahvila Hailuotolaiva

Kahvila Hailuotolaiva is an idyllic summer cafe over 100 years old located in Varjakka, Lumijoki. The cafe is open everyday, on weekdays from 2 pm to 8 pm and on weekends from 12 pm to 8 pm, until the end of August. We offer homemade sweet and savory pastries, ice cream, beverages, and we have A-license. You can enjoy your food and drinks inside while browsing historical newspaper articles about the ship or outside in the fresh sea air, sitting at the outdoor tables or on the deck of the ship.
You can also spend the night in cabins aboard the ship as the ship has two double cabins and one single person cabin.

The cafe’s location in Varjakka, Lumijoki offers great opportunities to enjoy nature and the sea, and Kahvila Hailuotolaiva is a popular tourist destination in the area.
There is a guest marina with electrical car charging places in the harbor. Local fishermen sell fresh fish, such as perch fillets, whenever available.
