Törmälän Tila's Tentsile accommodation
Accommodating in a tree – floating lightly in the air is a good way to fall asleep!
At Törmälän Tila, you can stay ecologically in a tree during the summer in a unique Tentsile accommodation. Tentsile is a combination of a hammock and a tent that is attached between three trees. The tent can accommodate 1 to 3 people. There are two tents available, Lokki and Peippo.
Lokki is securely attached to over 70-year-old sturdy pines on the banks of the Siikajoki River. The accommodation offers views of the Siikajoki River, the sounds of water, and the rush of the rapids, as well as fishing trips by birds.
Peippo floats about a meter high on the edges of the pine forest. From the tent, you can admire the open field landscape in front and the setting sun or autumn starlit sky behind the horizon, and listen to the songs of forest birds. Near Peippo, there is a private Eco-friendly toilet.
Tentsile accommodation includes a sleeping bag, linen for a sleeping bag, a pillow, a sleeping pad, a towel, an LED light, a rain cover, a sauna reservation, and a breakfast package by choice.
Guests have access to an indoor toilet at the sauna cabin, an old-fashioned wood-fired sauna for washing, a fireplace room with a refrigerator and a kettle, and a grill hut in the courtyard. The fireplace room has disposable tableware and supplies for making campfire coffee/tea/hot chocolate. An evening snack package is also available for an additional fee.
Tentsile with its equipment is ready for guests upon arrival at Törmälä.
