Pooki Flakkaa – Raahe Maritime Festival

Raahe Maritime Festival is an annual city festival celebrating the maritime spirit of Raahe, set along the picturesque museum shoreline. The event brings together the charm of a historic seaport and a lively market atmosphere, with the Komerssi market, visiting traditional vessels, maritime-themed activities, engaging stage performances, and plenty to see and experience for all ages.

The featured artist for summer 2026 is Evelina, who will perform on the event stage at Rantatori on Saturday, July 11. Admission to the event area is free.

The Maritime Festival also celebrates Raahe’s historic wooden town. On Saturday, 11 July, the annual Old Town Raahe’s House, Environment and Act Award will be presented at Rantatori.

In addition to the programme by the waterfront, the festival weekend features a wide range of events across the city. On Saturday, for example, the Maritime Festival also comes to Härkätori Square with a programme designed especially for children. Highlights include a children’s flea market, a performance by Tähtisirkus and a circus school.

Raahe Maritime Festival is part of the official Oulu2026 European Capital of Culture programme.
