Ice Fishing, Nallikari, Oulu

On this tour the likelihood of getting to experience the strike of a fish and seeing it emerge from under the ice is very good. This is a private ice fishing safari exclusively for your group; there will be no other participants. This safari always starts no later than 10 a.m., as fish tend to bite during the morning hours in winter. This significantly increases your chances of a successful catch. We will meet at our Nallikari Experience Center, where participants can change into winter clothing in the changing room. Afterward, we will walk only 10–15 minutes across the frozen sea to the fishing spots. As an additional service, a stove-heated tent can be set up on the ice before your group arrives, and we can also prepare a campfire for warming up and enjoying hot drinks. Each participant will have the opportunity to drill their own hole in the ice, and our fishing guide will demonstrate how to attach the bait and lure the fish to the hook. No previous fishing experience is required to join. The Nallikari sea area in Oulu is an excellent location for ice fishing, and with a little luck, the day will be crowned with nice-sized perch.
