Traditional Christmas Lunch at Raahen Hovi

Enjoy the familiar flavours of a Finnish Christmas at Raahen Hovi in Raahe. Served in Hovi’s downstairs restaurant, our Christmas lunch brings together traditional festive dishes, a varied starter buffet and a sweet finish. Share a seasonal lunch with friends, family or colleagues.

The starter buffet includes smoked reindeer and potato salad, Finnish beetroot salad with beetroot cream, Waldorf salad, smoked salmon mousse and a selection of herring and Baltic herring. Christmas bread and potato flatbread complete the festive selection.

The main course buffet features traditional Christmas ham roasted in-house, served with gravy and Hovi’s cognac mustard, alongside turkey fillet with blackcurrant compote. Side dishes include swede and carrot casseroles, Tervakangas potatoes with herb butter and roasted sweet potato wedges. Finish your meal with a changing Christmas dessert, chocolates, and coffee or tea.

Christmas lunch is available on 11 December, from 14 to 18 December, and on 21 and 22 December 2026. Seatings begin at 11 am, 12 noon and 1 pm. The price is €30 per person.
