We offer guided beer tastings of Hailuodon Panimo beers at Mallassauna for groups of 10–50 people.

Pikisaari is one of Oulu’s oldest and most atmospheric districts — a small island shaped by the sea, shipbuilding, trade and craftsmanship. In the 19th century, its shoreline was filled with warehouses, workshops and busy harbor life. Today, the old wooden houses and brick buildings still tell the story of the people who lived and worked by the northern coast, while artists, entrepreneurs and restaurateurs have brought new life to the island’s historic surroundings.
Hailuodon Panimo was founded on the nearby island of Hailuoto with a simple idea: to brew organic craft beer inspired by northern nature, island life and authentic craftsmanship. The brewery is known for combining traditional brewing methods with pure ingredients and a strong sense of place. Every beer reflects the calm, rugged beauty of the Bothnian Bay and the independent spirit of island culture.
Mallassauna was born from a desire to bring these flavors and stories closer to the city. Located in historic Pikisaari, Mallassauna combines relaxed Nordic atmosphere, local food culture and the organic beers of Hailuodon Panimo in a warm and welcoming setting. Surrounded by maritime history and creative island culture, Mallassauna offers visitors an authentic taste of Northern Finland — where good beer, good food and good company come together.
The guided beer tasting includes four different 0.15 L beers served on beautiful wooden tasting trays. Beer tastings are available for groups by reservation at [email protected].
