Icebreaker Sampo Cruise from Rovaniemi

Welcome to an Unforgettable Arctic Adventure! Icebreaker Sampo cruise includes a 3.5 – 4 hour icebreaker cruise, round-trip transfers from Rovaniemi to the harbor in Kemi, a non-alcoholic welcome drink, a guided tour of the ship, ice floating, and walking on the frozen sea (weather permitting), as well as a certificate of participation. Onboard, you’ll find warm lounges and a café-restaurant for your comfort. Your cruise ticket also includes access to exhibitions and experiences at the SnowCastle area.
Please note: the cruise is not suitable for guests with reduced mobility. Minimum height for the ice floating activity is 140 cm.

Know before you go:
To prepare for the arctic wintertime and activities, we highly recommend that you to dress in layered thermal underwear and warm, windproof outdoor clothing. A warm hat, woollen socks, good mittens and a fleece- or woollen middle layer are all part of proper winter clothing. This way your journey will be pleasant and enjoyable! Inside of the Icebreaker it is warm, but with appropriate clothing you will also be able to go outside on the deck to experience the arctic scenery. It is also a good idea to bring your sunglasses with you, especially in springtime when it can be very bright as the snow reflects the sunlight.
