Restaurant Mallassauna

Restaurant Mallassauna is located near the center of Oulu on the charming Pikisaari island. We offer a wide selection of organic beers from local Hailuoto Brewery on tap. In addition to beer, we provide other alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, along with delicious German-style food. The kitchen is open on Tue-Fri from 4 PM to 9:30 PM and on Sat from 2 PM to 9:30 PM. The restaurant also has a small shop where you can purchase organic beer (until 9 PM) and brewery-branded merchandise.
At the back of the restaurant, there are two small sauna buildings available for free use. The saunas are equipped with electric stoves and buckets of water, and next to them, you’ll find a tent as a dressing room. Saunas are open on Tue-Thu from 4 PM to 9 PM, Fri from 4 PM to 10 PM, and Sat from 2 PM to 10 PM. If it’s colder than -20, the sauna’s are not in use.
At Mallassauna, you can also enjoy rotating art exhibitions and various events, such as stand-up comedy, DJ nights, and live music throughout the year indoors and during the summer, outdoors on our spacious and cozy terrace.
