Gunnarin Kartano´s apartments and hostel rooms in Lampinsaari, Raahe

In Gunnarin Kartano´s mansion you can rent premises for many purposes: meetings, holidays, celebrations or reunions of groups or families. Our premises are also perfect for camp schools or for groups wishing to stay under the same roof. In addition, we have accommodation for casual or solo travelers, cyclists, families and friends.

Gunnarin Kartano mansion is an old school building built in the fifties, in the beautiful village of Lampinsaari, located in Raahe region in northern Ostrobotnia. Mining company Outokumpu founded their mine in Lampinsaari and practically built the whole village from the start.

With us, you can stay in a family or group apartment, in 2-person rooms or in 4-7 person dorms. If needed, the entire Manor can also be rented for private use by your group. There are accommodations for about 50 people in total.

Our specialty is a spacious and well-equipped shared kitchen where you can prepare your own meals at a time that suits you. Larger apartments also have their own kitchen. In the manor’s small and cozy library or playroom, you can spend time reading, playing board games and watching TV. Gunnarin Kartano also has Gunnar’s gym, which can be used for both parties and sports.

Gunnarin Kartano also has a restaurant. Breakfasts and other meals can be ordered separately.

We have accommodation for groups as well as single overnight visitors, cyclists are also welcome!
