Fatbike-retki Limingassa - Pohjolan Rengastie

Fatbike trip in Liminka

Hop on a bike and discover the nature of Liminka with a guide!
A fatbike — known in Finnish as a “läskipyörä” — is an excellent way to get around in snowy conditions. Compared to a regular bicycle, it features oversized rims and wide tires that allow it to glide over snow without sinking. Fatbiking isn’t about speed; the real joy lies in reaching places that would be difficult to access on a standard bike or on foot in deep snow.

On this guided fatbike tour, we ride along Liminka’s well-maintained trails, enjoying the peaceful winter scenery. At the end of the ride, we gather by the fire near the Liminganlahti Nature Centre, grill sausages, and take in the magic of the season.

The tour can be arranged year-round.

The program includes: a fatbike, cycling helmet, coffee service, and guiding.

What to bring: weather-appropriate outdoor clothing and gloves suitable for cycling. Trousers with narrow legs are recommended.

Available at an additional cost: transfers Oulu–Liminganlahti–Oulu
Duration: approximately 2–2.5 hours
