About the Artists

Pinja & Pekka are a singer-songwriter couple from Vantaa whose music blends vintage rhythms with a fresh modern twist. They perform regularly across Finland and continuously release new music. In recent years, many of their songs have received significant radio airplay.

Their songs Levoton jalka (“Restless Foot”), Nouse sisko (“Rise, Sister”), Rakkauden oppikirja (“The Handbook of Love”), and Lemmen kutsuja (“Calls of Love”) have been featured on the playlists of some of Finland’s largest radio stations, including Radio Suomi and Radio Pooki.

Their live performances also include beloved Finnish jazz and schlager classics, featuring songs made famous by artists such as Carola Standertskjöld and Laila Kinnunen.

A Local Connection

Pekka is originally from Raahe, and the couple visits the area regularly, making this performance a particularly special occasion.
